Share your vibe as an app
Turn any public vibe into an image or a link that opens full screen: instantly on iPhone once the Vibes App Clip is live, on the web everywhere else.
Share as app turns a public vibe into something people can open with one tap or one scan. Open the vibe menu's Share card — the QR code for your vibe sits right at the top with Copy link, Text, Email, Share… and Embed under it — then choose Share as app and pick how you want to send it.
Text or email a friend
On a public vibe, two buttons sit beside Copy link:
- Text (on a phone) opens your Messages app with the invite already written, "I made Packing Plan. Try it!" and the link. The link unfurls into a card with your vibe's name and picture. Pick a friend and send.
- Email (signed in) asks for one address. Vibes sends your friend an email from your handle with your vibe's name, a picture of it, and a button that opens it. Vibes emails an address once per app, so a second invite to the same person leaves their first email as the one to use.
Add a note
Tap Add a note under the address to say something in your own words, like "Pick the campsite with me!". The same option shows on the Send this invite? sheet when a vibe's own Invite by email asks to send one. A note is optional, so one tap still sends the invite on its own.
- Up to 140 characters of plain words. Links, email addresses and phone numbers stay out, so the note reads as a message from you.
- Vibes reads each note before it goes. A note that passes arrives as your own quoted words, under "@yourhandle wrote:", above the button that opens your vibe.
- When a note doesn't pass, your friend still gets the invite, and the Share card tells you it went without the note.
A link opens the vibe for your friend as their own. To build something together in the same list or board, invite them from inside the vibe.
Link or image
- Copy app link puts
https://vibes.diy/c/<handle>/<app>on your clipboard. Paste it into a message, a post, or a note. - Save image saves a picture of your app with its name, your handle
(
by @<handle>), and a QR code, under the line "Scan to open, no download needed". Print it, post it, or hold it up for a friend to scan. - Share… hands the image and link to your device's share sheet, so you can send it to any app you use.
Both the link and the QR code open the same place: your vibe, full screen. Under the buttons the menu sums it up: "On iPhone this opens instantly, no download. Everywhere else it opens on the web."
What people see
- On iPhone, once the Vibes App Clip is live, the vibe opens instantly with no download. The App Clip is coming; until then iPhone opens the web version like every other device.
- Everywhere else, the link opens your vibe on the web in a full-screen view.
Anyone who opens the link can use the vibe right away. A Report link behind the More (…) button at the top right gives them a way to tell the Vibes team about anything that looks wrong.
Who can share
Share as app appears for public vibes, and everyone who can see one can share it: the owner, signed-in visitors, and people who are signed out. When you want to share a restricted vibe as an app, publish it and set it to public from the same menu first, and the row appears.
Try it
- Open a public vibe and choose the vibe menu, then Share.
- Choose Share as app, under the QR code.
- Tap Save image, Copy app link, or Share….
